While Quidley may be a new name to the world of boutique amplifiers, Ed Quidley was the original guitarist and long time sound engineer for Sidewinder......an institution in The East Coast Rock-n-Roll scene from the late 1970's through the early 1990's. He is a highly respected and well-known fixture in the region as well as a great player and sound engineer with an amazing ear for tone. He is a true master in live sound venues as well as in the recording studio.  Never satisfied with commercially available speaker systems, he has for several decades designed and built his own speakers, expertly tuning them for optimal performance. Coupling those with the latest technology and best gear, he assembles a truly unique PA system which he runs masterfully to provide the ultimate live sound experience. Equally as talented in the studio, he is capable of recording, mixing and mastering both live and studio tracks to provide production ready CDs.

He also spent twenty five years in the nuclear power industry in various leadership positions, rising from the ranks of Instrument and Controls Technician to Senior Management positions. A trained electronics technician from both the military and college, he spent a lifetime troubleshooting and repairing all types of electronic equipment.

It was a natural marriage of those talents and skills that would drive him to develop the ultimate guitar amplifier. Using his deep knowledge of electronics, his exceptional ear for tone and his extensive speaker expertise he designed, developed and built an amp that will undoubtedly BLOW YOU AWAY.
